The Cult of the Serpentlords

To Whom It May Concern,

It is with great anguish that Crown has cast the ancient Cult of the Serpentlords from within its walls. As has been said, this action has been the culmination of many years of discord between the Cult and their modern home.

It had become clear that the interests and intentions of the Cult no longer aligned with those of the Crown and that the path they had undertaken held no concern for the good of the city that had so long supported them. In violation of their oathes as citizens, the leadership of the Cult chose to throw their support behind a traitor and were unwilling to seek resolution with the Crown.

The once revered Cult has tarnished its storied history and become naught but a mere social club for those with fangs. What was once a Great House, feared for the assassins, spies, and thieves it created has been reduced to churning out essays on critical thinking.

We, the Crown, pray that one day they may find their way once more and restore the infamy of the name: Serpentlord.

In Service to the Crown,
Vayne Trismegistus
Regent
Once Proud Member of the Cult

Penned by my hand on the 11th of Lupar, in the year 669 AF.
