Salutations,

As the newly appointed steward of the Asterian Athenaeum, it is with great pleasure that I bid you all welcome to this new establishment of learning upon the shores of Meropis.

The continent has long thirsted for a concentrated effort towards encouraging interest in all sorts of scholarly pursuits, and I hope that the Athenaeum will spearhead the change we need.

On behalf of the Asterian Restoration, curators of this intellectual renaissance, I would like to extend the invitation once more to all of you to attend the gala opening of the Asterian Athenaeum.

The time and place are as follows:

Date: 10 Ero 678 AF (Serenade of Ero)

Place: The bridge of the Asterian Athenaeum

Expect to spend a day or so here to witness the ceremonial brazier lighting, unveil the inaugural Meropian image exhibition, mingle with others of similar interests and indulge in delicious food and drink. All participants will also receive a token in commemoration of this historical event.

The Athenaeum is found upon the Asterian Peninsula, southwest of Sirocco Fortress. Those unfamiliar with Meropis may approach Maira, the ferrywoman in Sea Lion Cove, for passage to a nearby isle and continue the journey on foot or contact one of the Founders. However, it is advised to familiarise yourself with the path beforehand as it can be a long trek.

The doors of the Athenaeum are open to all who wish to learn. We hope to see you there.

In service,

Asharn
Steward of the Asterian Athenaeum

Penned by My hand on the 18th of Miraman, in the year 678 AF.
