The Order of the Ithmian Knights

Greetings Sapience,

I would like to announce the resurrection of the Order of the Ithmian Knights. The Ithmian Knights seek to uphold the ancient traditions of knighthood in affiliation with Nature and those that claim loyalty to Her cause. Willing sacrifice of one's self for Eleusis and Nature is first and foremost to an Ithmian Knight.

This ancient organization serves the purpose of implementing chivalric traditions into our forestal culture. Founded on the four principles of the Darach'Adur, candidates will be tested rigorously in order to create honourable, well-rounded individuals that excel in military service towards Eleusis and Nature.

Chivalry has ancient roots in Eleusis and Nature. The Ithmian Knights were initially founded as the Gaian Knights in the year 441 AF, over 200 years ago. Staying true to tradition, Cwincan and the Briar Knights stand guard vigilantly around the village.

As Nature ever seeks to lengthen the reach of her branches, so do the Ithmian Knights seek to expand Her influence and protect that which She has claimed as Her own. We shall be a bane unto civilisation and collectively, a true force of Nature. Service unto Nature in all aspects is first and foremost, in the Ithmian Knights.

This program is rigorous and the requirements to progress are more demanding from the perspective of physical growth than the Knighthood programs of Mhaldor and Cyrene. Strong individual combat skill, the ability to lead and understand groups against and in offensive raids, along with the achievement of Greater Dragon will be among the many challenges you will face, with as equal emphasis on Duty and Service as the other knight programs.

Rogues and members of civilisation, if you hold an inclination towards the path of honour and Nature, take this opportunity to join the ranks of Nature and better yourselves as individuals. As for now, only members of the Runewarden and Blademaster class may join but this is subject to change.

In service,
Exelethril

Penned by my hand on the 24th of Miraman, in the year 682 AF.
