Achaeans,

There are those who are confused about the relationship between the Skylord's faithful, Ashtan and the Chaos Lords, please allow me the indulgence of explaining.

We Farethi venerate the Storm, for the destruction and devastation wrought by the mercurial squall brings us freedom. Freedom from the confines of rigid structure. Freedom from the confines of established order. Freedom to better ourselves, cast off that which holds us back, cast off those who would hold us back, allowing us to soar to the pinnacle of perfection.

Forestwalker Achimrst, your post demonstrates your lack of understanding of the difference between the goals of Lord Babel and His Nihilists and those of the Chaos Lords. If you understood these differences, perhaps you would also be able to see the differences to the teachings of the Skylord. Consider the storms which rush through the forests of Rheodad, felling the weakened trees. The spaces in the canopy that open up allow sunlight to reach ground previously obscured, saplings grow and the forest regains its strength, the weak and decrepit are pruned by its power, the strong survive, and are bolstered by the fresh growth.

Micaelis, without casting aside that which holds us back, how can we truly be free? Shackled by rigid doctrine, we can only reach the state that we are allowed, not the perfection we strive for. By embracing the Storm, we cast off the constraints imposed upon us, soaring ever upwards into the boundless Sky.

Arbiter Vayne, you titled your post attacking the Voice of the Storm, "Where Chaos Consumes the Storm". Are you so swathed in shadow that you do not see that which is a plain as the nose on your face? Chaos is the antithesis of Creation, breaking down the established, destroying the staid, changing the immutable. The Storm is the onrushing force of devastation, for without destroying that which has gone before, how can we rebuild anew?

Tyrannus Xinna, you speak of the fight for the survival and improvement of sentient life for all time, yet you espouse the teachings of Lord Sartan, claiming it is through the hardships of Suffering and Oppression that one can achieve the perfection He demands. Suffering and Oppression are the tools of the myopic. History is peppered with instances of uprising, those who are subjegated rising up and overthrowing those who would seek to hold them down. This exemplifies the Storm, rising to free us all from the chains of servitude and ignorance.

To you all, I say this: Ashtan has not traded her position of power, far from it, her position is consolidated by allying with the Chaos Lords.

The Storm is coming, make your preparations, for it will give no quarter.
