Greetings to you all once more.

It has been quite the to do these past several months with the launch of the Adryn Keep Festival and I thought it prudent to provide a synopsis of the events thus far for those who find themselves curious.

After the successful delivery of some enchanted Urns to each of the cities, the Great Hunt began with a flurry of activity. It was quickly realised that filling the Urns would be far more of an ordeal than initially suspected but all settled in for the duration. In the end, in a finish too close to call, Ashtan overcame Cyrene to take top time with Eleusis and Mhaldor coming in third and fourth in a respectable showing.

With the Urns finally satiated, the cities found themselves in possession of a sphere that was offering up what appeared to be a fairly incomprehensible series of numbers. The clever citizens quickly determined the trick to it though and raced off to reach all of the locations of the land race as quickly as possible. The finish was once again quite close with Hashan barely edging out Cyrene for the victory and Mhaldor right on their heels. Eleusis rounded out the top four. It was truly inspiring to hear from my attendants how the citizens of each city rallied to not only solve the code but to devise strategies to work together to deliver the most efficient performance possible. Well done!

The next contest to be completed will be the Ship Race after which comes the Gauntlet. Two cities have already completed the Ship Race and are thus eligible to pick which month they will enter the Gauntlet. Starting next Miraman, each city will have one month in which the Gauntlet will be reserved for them to attempt to complete. It is a matter of first come first serve on the months and there is one timeslot that comes after the Game of the Eyes which may be more or less appealing depending on your overall strategy.

Meanwhile, the fair grounds at the Keep are open and offer some amusements and special wares. Very soon, a special stall of Wonders will open and provide some truly unique items for your consideration. You will also find a scoreboard with all of the latest contest results at the centre of the grounds.

Finally, my Lady is hosting a sculpture design contest for all who are of a creative mind. It is a simple contest and those interested may submit a letter with the design of their choice via mail to the Lady Adryn. This can be done through the messenger at the Delos Bridge. Please adhere to all crafting guidelines in your submission. I will not have my Lady offended!

The winner of this contest will receive a priceless reward: Their design manufactured and sold to the public! In addition, they will receive their realised design and, if they are a citizen of some fine city, they will receive points towards the overall score of their city. Given the current ties, any edge should be considered!

All in all, we are quite thrilled with how things are going and hope you are enjoying Adryn Keep's first foray into event hosting. We are excited to see if any can challenge Cyrene's efficiency and teamwork to keep them from continuing to accumulate precious placings in each contest!
