Your faith

Your trust in the Bloodsworn is truly inspiring, Herald.

The faith required to believe in the Sister of the Malefactor, the fallen God of Suffering, is nothing short of impressive. In an ironic twist of fate, Suffering still lives throughout the lands, only now wrought by the East - surely such precepts will reach the fortress of Baelgrim with open arms. And to give Lord Dunamis yet another chance at the possibility of attempting to stop the spread of Chaos, this time for sure, is a lovely gesture.

Do not fault the Jade Empress so callously, though. Even you admit the fallacy of the last civilisation of Good, and the folly of the other Gods of Light that died in their misguided understanding, as you mentioned. To abandon a sinking ship, indeed, a sinking ideology, is akin to wisdom and knowledge - a realm intimately tied to the Lady.

I understand your trepidation concerning the last days, and the diminishing comprehension of that which you studied long ago. However, it is worth noting again that the will of Lord Babel for the masses is one thing. The will for His followers is another. For the masses, the God of Chaos wills vitality and freedom. He loathes the false constraints instituted by entities of rigid dogmas, and He benevolently wishes a full and well-lived life to all beings. For His followers, however, He wills purpose to proclaim the Word.

Enlightenment is nothing but a transcendent awareness of the working of Chaos. The Lord of the Void is perfectly aware of the workings of Chaos and the charge to oversee such by Lord Sarapis. Thus, the more enlightened we become, the more our minds will agree with the mind of Lord Babel, and the more easier it is to see the end of all things as a beautiful conclusion to the circle built in the beginning.

It is a wonderful thought to consider.

May Entropy and Discord ever triumph,
