Unity

Sapience and beyond,

What are you doing? An invading force approaches our shores, destroys the Beacons to the Divine we all worship and love and our first instinct is to slaughter each other. If a murderer entered your home would your first instinct be to slay your brothers and sisters so you could be the first in line to receive a death at the hands of the murderer?

I speak to you now not as the Voice of Light but as, I hope, a voice of reason. We are threatened, all of us, and it's clear that the destruction of the shrines is important to their goals. Why should we kill each other for their amusement? I am not a clown, and nor are you.

I would not ask that ancient enemies band together. I cannot abide working directly alongside an enemy of Creation, as I'm sure many of you cannot abide working alongside your enemies, but that doesn't mean we cannot show common sense.

I do not speak for Targossas, the Aarash Kheyr, or any other organization I am a part of. I simply speak for myself. And I, Micaelis al Nadir, will not raise my hand against any seeking to restore the shrines of their Divine as long as they do not present themselves as an enemy. I beg of you to consider the implications of a Sapience that doesn't tear itself apart and present their throats so willingly to the enemy, and do the same.

In service,

Micaelis al Nadir

Penned by my hand on the 6th of Miraman, in the year 724 AF.
