By the will of the prophet Kayalenki, the Daru and the Luminaries have been
dissolved, transformed instead into the Illuminai order of the old.
Combining Daru and Luminaries into a single guild, the Illuminai are united
by their common heritage, their faith, and their practice of the sacred art
of Illumination. Refer to READNEWS PUBLIC 5873 for more information.

The Illuminai is a unique guild, that has two classes associated with it:
Zealot and Luminary. Because of this, people who are inguilded into the
Illuminai outside of the character creation will join the guild with no
class. They can then CLASS SELECT ZEALOT, or CLASS SELECT LUMINARY. This
can only be done once - obtaining the second class will need to go through
normal apprenticeship methods. Those who join the guild through character
creation will be whatever class they picked in the character creation.

While all Luminaries have been transferred to the new Illuminai
organization, we left it as a choice for the former Daru members. They
can PLEDGE ILLUMINAI to join the guild so long as they still have the
Zealot class and have yet to join another guild.
