Gold Tweaks

Hey folk, we're going to be making a series of changes to the way gold is accrued over the coming days. Our biggest target at the moment is the large amount of gold that can be made by simply bashing. This includes both corpse turn-in quests, as well as mob drops themselves.

The ideal situation we're aiming for is that bashing (including corpse-turnin quests as an extension of this) should only give you gold income to cover the cost of curatives used, with a little bit extra for profit. Non-corpse turnin quests will also be looked at. However, we are fine with those generating more gold than bashing.

We've gone through and changed the quest rewards on the following NPCs: Arinas, Hoelth, Hirela, Dran'ge, Gortani, Ephin, Qezirath, Estok, Aghrak, Dakun, Thuneron, Ennioch, Clive, Jamasco, Alaqsii, Lucisa, Enzo, Nathan, Archi, Xia, Elerl, Hulin, Ilunm, Alaqsii hunters, and all of the Shattered Vortex. Most of these are corpse-turnin quests, but there's a few others that aren't.

We've also made some changes to commodities. Commodity production for cities has also been turned off indefinitely. Villages will still generate commodities per normal, however the max amount of comms they have has been dropped. Smelting in forging will now return 90% of the commodities used, so long as you smelt while the item is still at max decay. Otherwise, the 50% commodity return still applies.

More changes will be coming in the near future.

Penned by my hand on Kinsday, the 22nd of Severin, in the year 456 MA.
