Profession Changes

- Once you have gained a profession (by joining a guild or being apprenticed), you cannot ever lose that profession unless you completely and deliberately forget it. You cannot be forced to lose a profession by being kicked out of a guild or anything like that.

- The cooldown on apprenticing has been removed. If you are a Master in a profession, you can apprentice however many people you want to give them profession, as often as you want.

- Whenever somebody learns a profession, they are automatically given all three profession skills.

- Learning restrictions at all profession ranks have been removed.

- Cerise will no longer induct anybody greater than level 30. If you are a non-newbie, you must be inducted manually by somebody in the guild.

- Guild rank no longer affects profession rank in any way.

- Common profession skills between two professions in different circles will no longer offer you an additional refund when switching circles. For example, changing from Lorekeeper to Templar will no longer preserve your skill rank in chivalry and smithing. It didn't make much sense that some people had a lower cost to switch circles than others.

- The "Specialist" achievement has been removed.

- There are now only three profession ranks: Novice, Apprentice, and Master:

Novice Profession Rank
------------------------
- Anybody level 50 or less has a Novice profession rank in any profession he/she has.
- Novices receive 100% of their lessons back when they forget a profession skill or an entire profession.

Apprentice Profession Rank
----------------------------
- Anybody who has spent less than roughly 1500 lessons in their profession skills has the Apprentice profession rank
- Apprentices receive 90% of their spent lessons back when they forget a profession skill or an entire profession.
- You can view your progress in the Apprentice profession rank by entering PROFESSIONS. It will show you how close you are, in percentage form, from advancing from Apprentice rank to Master.

Master Profession Rank
------------------------
- Anybody has has spent more than roughly 1500 lessons in their profession skills has the Master profession rank.
- A Master receives 50% of their spent lessons back when they forget a profession skill or an entire profession.
- Once a Master, always a Master. If you reach the Master rank in a profession, you cannot go back to Apprentice unless you completely forget that profession and relearn it again.
- Masters relearn profession skills twice as fast when switching back to a profession that they previously mastered.
- Masters can apprentice other people, allowing them to offer a profession to other people who do not already have that profession from their guild.

Penned by my hand on the 15th of Solis, in the year 24 AM.
