The classlead beta is done, and the massive list of balancing changes is now live! The following six announce posts list everything that has changed - the first three posts contain a wide assortment of changes, the fourth post lists changes related to damage mitigation and changes to runes and blessings, the fifth post lists Defiler changes, and finally the sixth post lists Bard changes.

[9] Emblazing (Templar Smithing) now only works for Templars, and the damage is no longer affected by the target's runes

[10] Choke (Naturebinding) tick frequency and per-tick damage reduced; being choked now slows down pipe balance

[12] Daemonites (Malignosis) now do damage instead of balance loss

[12] Daemonites, nightmares, and razorfiends (Malignosis) are no longer tied to their pentagram, and each player can only have one of these in total summoned at once - summoning a new demon removes the previous one; the demon is still removed after the pentagram fades

[15] Added a new affliction, called numbness, which prevents touching tattoos and using most channeled instakills; if untreated for 6 seconds, the affliction is cured and paralysis is given instead

[15] Numbness currently affects the channeled ticks of these attacks: Marduk (Enslavery), Reclaim (Evocation), Judgement (Fayth), Sunder (Chivalry/Brutality), Cleave (Chivalry/Brutality/Bladedance), Eliminate (Malignosis), Blackwind (Necromancy), Timewarp (Noctu), Hostage (Predation), Submersion (Pyroglacia), Marduk (Shamanism), Annihilate (Spatium), Devour (Spatium), Windbrace (Terratheria), Kantae (Voice), Behead (Weaponry/Torment), Shatter (Weaponry), Gorge (Wyrmriding)

[15] Most attacks that were giving paralysis now give numbness instead, in particular: Ciguatoxin (Toxins), Curses/Evileye/Shamanism/Supremacy/Telepathy Paralyse (renamed to Numbness in all cases), Torc of telepathy, Maidenhair incense (Kanai), Inguz (Runelore), Emperor (Tarot), Bedazzle (Thespia)

[15] Paralysis immunity removed

[15] Relax (Wardance) can now also cure numbness

[16] Mirroring (Templar Smithing) changed to replicate a random affliction on its target after a 4s delay; it doesn't flare if an affliction is already pending; the chance to hit with justice has been removed

[17] Broad arrows no longer cause unconsciousness

[17] Knockout (Shielddance) now puts to sleep (or strips insomnia) and gives dizziness; it's also faster

[17] Unconsciousness removed as a possible Shieldbash (Warding) effect

[17] Pommelship (Knifeplay) reworked, it is now a channeled attack that delivers high damage and blackout; the hidden requirement is still there

[17] Buttstrike (Warding) now does high head damage instead of unconsciousness, and its damage has been increased

[17] Removed unconsciousness as a hunger effect

[17] Unconsciousness now only remains as a mob attack and a high drunkedness effect

[20] Cleansing rite (Devotion) reworked, the presence of the rite now allows you to PERFORM CLEANSING <target> to strip their rebounding or shield, or cause minor fire damage; this doesn't cost balance, but has a 20s cooldown

[27] Earthquake (Evocation) reworked, it now spreads out the damage into three hits, coming in 3 second intervals

[29] Removed lethargy and confusion from Supremacy

[29] Added vertigo, claustrophobia, and hypersomnia into Supremacy

[29] Trigger (Supremacy) cooldowns should now behave more consistently

[33] Kanai Target now preserves accumulated fanatism, with a cap of 30 - if it was higher than that, it is lowered to 30; all fanatism is cleared if it was gained using selfharm

[34] Incinerate (Noctu) initial cost reduced to 40
