At your request, you can now view more information about clothing slots. This will let you plan your wardrobe more effectively.

When probing an item that is considered clothing AND has a valid clothing slot associated with it, you will now see what clothing slot (by name) it occupies.

You can also view the list of clothing slots that exist using the CLOTHES command. You can then use CLOTHES <slot> to view more information about that slot (notably, what other slots will cause it not to be visible).
