Berserkers!

Written by: Garryn

The Wardancer class is no more, and in their place, the Berserker profession now exists! The vast majority of Wardancer skills (pretty much everything except the kicks and some useless attacks) have been moved over into two of the new skills (Maiming and Rampage), and a new skill has been added - Warchants.

Other than the reskin, these are the main differences and notable changes:

- The new Warchants skill provides new attacks, as well as some defences

- The class is now tied to a "sword and board" (sword + shield) style - dual-shields or dual-swords are no longer offered as an option

- Longswords are now the default proficiency of the class

- Doubletime and Bloodthirst is no more, the bonuses are rolled in

- Ignorance is no longer focusable, and is now cured by orphine

- Warpaint is no longer cosmetic

- Shields are no longer envenomable

- There are several new shield attacks, some of which work differently based on whether they are used stand-alone or following a sword attack

- Various messages have changed to better fit the new theme

- Mirage has different restrictions

- Shield Absorb effect reduced, and the pointless spam on it removed

- Various other small things all over the place

Everyone who had the Wardancer class should have the Berserker class now. As the new class is essentially an enhanced version of the old Wardancers, there's no automated lesson regain this time - please leave me a message if you need to redo your lesson distribution within the class.

If you have bought dual artifact weapons or shields for the Wardancer class, we're now offering a refund on one of these, as the second one is no longer used - drop me a message if this applies to you, and I'll sort you out.

That should be everything important - we'll probably do some post-release tweaks to the class as needed, so please make sure to report any problems found.

I hope you'll enjoy the updated class!
