October Promo Baby!

For the month of October players purchasing credits will receive a special costume voucher. One voucher will be awarded for every 100 credits purchased. These vouchers can be exchanged for one of ten special costumes that have been released for the month of October.

You can purchase a costume with the command COSTUME PURCHASE <type>. The vouchers can be sold on the promo market or traded in for 20 credits. Each costume comes with two unique powers. Only one costume can be worn at a time.

The costumes are listed below. More detailed information can be found in HELP COSTUMES.

Secondly, we have changed up the Wheel of Fortune for the month of October.
- Paid spins now only cost 20 credits.
- Paid spins will receive ONE of the 10 new Halloween items which are listed below.
- There is also a chance to win the new items with free spins.
- These items can be sold on the promo market
- The new items are worth 5 credits if traded in.
- All the items and commands are listed in HELP PROMOTIONS.
- Review HELP WHEEL OF FORTUNE for an up to date prize list.

Finally, we have a Super-Duper Grand Prize for the month.

Every time you spin the Wheel of Fortune (free spins included) you will be entered to win a unique artifact. This item is called the Skull of Norrix. It can be used to stun all mobs in a room for 10 seconds, excluding a few types. It has a 60 minute cooldown.

At the end of the month of October, one character will randomly be drawn to win this prize.

--- COSTUMES ---

Werewolf
--------------------
- HOWL AT <player> - Fear effect
- Any character wearing this costume will do more damage if they are bleeding.

Vampire
--------------------
- SUMMON BARGHAST: The character can summon a barghast. This creature will throw itself in the way of damage coming from other mobs, absorbing some of it. If they take too much damage, too quickly, they will die.
- While worn, the character will heal health at night.

Scarecrow
--------------------
- SHAKE: 50% chance to cause fear in birds. Like falcons. Hmm.
- Never suffers from hunger or hunger based attacks.

Reaper
--------------------
- Custom Behead, Cleave, and Torment message if you have the skill.
- If you kill a player while wearing this, they take 30 seconds longer to come back. Unfortunately the same is true for anyone wearing it.

Abomination
--------------------
- HOOK <target>: Can't leave the room with normal movement until you writhe.
- Abominations are pretty stinky. There is a chance that other people in the room with your will get the stink. Even more so if they emote at them.

Imp
--------------------
- FORK <target>: Small damage and they catch on fire.
- 5% fire resistance.

Fairy
--------------------
- All their says, tells, enter, and exit messages are absolutely amazing!
- DUST <target>: Give this amazing power to someone else for 60 seconds.

Jester
--------------------
- FASHION BALLOON OF <target> [color]: Makes balloon image of another player. You can POP <balloon> when you get tired of them.
- Automatically juggle engineering bombs that are in your room or inventory right out of the room. Getting blown up is for newbs.

Dragon
--------------------
- BREATHE DRAGONFIRE AT <target>: This will afflict the target with level two burning. The character must apply mending twice to remove the effect.
- They fill the room with smoke after 60 seconds and the exits are obscured. If they leave the room, it takes 60 seconds for the room to clear out. No glance, squint, etc.

Zombie
--------------------
- Corpses of character you kill become zombies of that character that follows you around. It does not attack or anything and dies after 60 minutes unless you feed it a corpse. You can keep them around longer by feeding them corpses. FEED <zombie> WITH <corpse>
- Eat the decapitated head or shrunken head of a player for a health/mana regain like the toadstool. This ability has a cooldown.

This will hit your target with a random hidden affliction. 10 uses.

a pair of vampire fangs

SUCK BLOOD <target>
This item does damage to target while healing the attacker. 10 uses.

a bit of scarecrow straw
---------------------------------
LIGHT STRAW ON FIRE
Fills any room you are in with blistering heat. Any exposed herbs in players inventories are destroyed. Players cannot take herbs from rifts or other items or they will just burn up. This will automatically keep autocuring systems from using herbs. Lasts for 30 seconds. 1 use.

a tenebrous reaper's sash

WEAR SASH
Mobs you kill while wearing this sash will come back as a shade, so you can kill it again. This item will last for 2 hours. 1 use.

a jar of abomination ooze

SPLASH <target> WITH OOZE
This will increase the writhe time and balance cost when a character uses writhe to escape most writhe afflictions. This does not include impale. 10 uses.

an imp's silvery locket
---------------------------------
CURSE THE <stat> OF <target>
This will lowers the characters target stat by 1 point. However, it will raises another random stat by 1. Lasts 60 minutes. 5 uses.

an icy fairy's wand
---------------------------------
POINT <wand> AT <target>
This will cause the player to move with delayed movement for 60 seconds. 10 uses.

a delicious-looking jester's pie
---------------------------------
THROW PIE AT <target>
This item disrupts most channeled abilities, causing them to fail instantly. 10 uses.

a handful of dragon scales
---------------------------------
TOUCH <scales>
The user will receive a 10% resist bonus for 10 minutes. 10 uses.

a rotted zombie brain
---------------------------------
EAT <brain>
The character will be immune to the effects of broken arms and legs for 60 seconds. They will still be broken, mangled, and whatever else. 5 uses.
