There is now a config option to ignore specific rooms or areas from pathfinding. Ignoring a room or area will make PATH FIND <blah> never go through that room or area. If you ignore too much, you'll find that you can't path find anywhere. PATH SHORTEST <blah> will ignore your ignore list (as well as possibly take you through areas that are hostile to you).
