The Idea that Took Root

Curiosity, a natural property of the entities that rise from the remains of the former gods, and a property that could have brought about the end of two overly curious entities that identify themselves as siblings. On the 23rd day of Solis, the entities Vyir and Echleru decided to investigate the properties of the Inequedra, Tree of Existence that rests within the Feinhorn mountains, convinced that the tree's deep reaching roots must have access to power that others have not yet found. They charmed their way into an escort that grew into a party, comprised of those interested in the endeavors of these entities, as they reached the golden tree. And so they were joined there and lead deep into the dark caverns by Camaris, Rostov, Sylla, Valvarious and Sarrius, until they reached where the roots were lost within the solid ground, likely continuing below. The two decided one thing stood in their way, the great ouroboros, Nysashgar's tunnels would be a perfect way of reaching the roots, but they would have to find a way to remove him.

After a few unsuccessful attempts to move the beast, the annoyed ouroboros lashed out with his great maw and swallowed the two, their glowing lights growing fainter as they traveled down his gullet towards his vast and unforgiving belly. Just before the light, and potentially the lives, of the entities winked out of existence, the two found each other within the darkness, their radiance combining into one before they emerged from the ouroboros strong enough now to free themselves from his hunger. As the light dimmed, the resulting twin entities were revealed in their new forms, each mirroring the other.

With these new bodies, and their propensity towards ambition and mischief, what will their next steps be?

Penned by my hand on the 24th of Solis, in the year 39 AM.
