Poetry News Post #904

Locked

Written by: Squire Jeb
Date: Friday, December 24th, 2010
Addressed to: Everyone

I will wonder of the feel
I will ponder long the thought
But I would freeze within the moment
When the fruit is finally sought

Long the desire to know has been caged
Locked behind the bars of service

Now I wait
Now I dream

One day I will be released
I will understand
I will once more give all I have
And be free to receive as much as I give

Penned by my hand on the 19th of Naturalis, in the year 626 AD.
