Poetry News Post #955

The sea rose up below the skies
it roared at birds and butterflies
it spoke of keit and tzuzilai
begged not to want and not to try
said it had anger, waves to cry
but after it had come to lie
this storm was never satisfied

This beryl blew out every hour
hungry for something to devour
some dust to crush beneath its power
To bring the rain down in a shower
To smear the blackness in the pure
To chase the taste the insecure
Ignite the things that scorched before
til nothing's left, will rain down more

Beneath each step, it quakes the ground
It spins below and all around
Behind the silence, thundering sound
bones that are thrown abuse and pound
And sandclouds burst and bend the air
Panic explodes, at once, the scare
rampaging of some solar flare
And storm stopped not and never cared

the corpses lay in genocide
Survivors rose up, pacified,
lay low below sun's rising skies
begged for something to nullify
holes hurricaine's brought to life -
but Gods knew not, gave no reply.
they too were never satisfied

Penned by my hand on the 1st of Aequitas, in the year 61 AM.
