People of Lusternia,
It's been more than two years since I stepped into the shoes of Iosai
and began working behind-the-scenes at Lusternia. In that time, I've
enjoyed every moment immensely, from the occasional interaction with
"mortals" to the continual improvement of the game with our dedicated
and resilient Envoys. The feeling I get from supporting a game I have
played and loved since its release is immense, and comparable to almost
nothing else I've experienced. Some of my fondest memories involve this
world and its dedicated, passionate players. You are all a credit to
Lustenria and I am sure Estarra will not be upset if I say that we would
not have such a fantastic world today were it not for your input, your
involvement, and your imagination.
Unfortunately, my time at Lusternia is now coming to an end and it is
with a heavy heart and much regret that I must say this will be my last
month working for Iron Realms. This job has personally given me more
than I care to admit over the time, but everything must come to an end
and I have now accepted a job elsewhere which begins in November.
Nothing would please me more than to continue in my current capacity and
work with you and Estarra for another two years, but unfortunately this
So, thank you. Thank you for having me. Thank you for working with me,
and in many cases against me (which generally caused the end result to
be better than it could otherwise have been!). It has been a pleasure
and a joy, and an experience I'd exchange for nothing else.
To Estarra: I'm sorry to be leaving. I wish I wasn't. And I am more
grateful than I can ever put into words for the fact that you let me
work with you on your creation and your brainchild (more like a teenager
now, at least, I think). I know you will continue to excel and push
Lusternia to fantastic, impossible things in the future.
All my love,
Penned by My hand on the 13th of Kiani, in the year 367 CE.
