This month, we are celebrating our Ten Year Anniversary! It just seems
like yesterday when myself and a handful of volunteers were scurrying
around to get ready for open beta (October 7, 2004). I still recall the
debacle of realizing we needed to describe the entire Skarch Desert on
the fly which ended up falling on yours truly. Does anyone recall the
release of the histories on the old MSN board leading up to the opening?
Boy, that was fun! I have so many wonderful memories of Lusternia that I
can barely believe that ten years has already come and gone! Let's hope
there'll be another ten! (Sheesh, don't ask me how old I'd be...)

We will be celebrating with many events with some great credit prizes!
The Czigany Wayfaire should be coming later this week and a Great Hunt

For this month's promotion, free presents will be given for those who
purchase credits! There will be one present for every ten credits
purchased. Also, every present will contain four hair curios!

Er, wait... what? Hair curios? Yes! We have released a ton of hair
curios for our anniversary celebration! These are mostly just RP devices
which you can wear and are seen when people EXAMINE you. If wearing a
completed hair curio, you will also receive a small influence bonus. If
you just want the influence bonus and don't care what you look like, you
may be able to earn a free completed hair curio from Sergio Drabardi.

Who's Sergio Drabardi? He's a Czigany hairstylist who got into a spat
with his sister who then cursed all his wigs! Now wigs are running amok
along the Alabaster Highway! Kill five wigs and bring them to Sergio
(located in his shop next to where curios are sold) to complete the
daily quest. If you complete the quest 21 days during the month, you
will receive a completed, unique hair curio!
