Subj: Encountering the spirits of the Ancestors

Nearly a month has passed since I sacrificed the life of one particular Moredhel to the Wanter of All Things in a ritual intended to shine His favor on the man's journey to the afterlife.

However, today, as I kneeled in my trance to Lord Guis-wan, I had a strange encounter in that I was visited by the ghost of the sacrificed Moredhel. I couldn't say much in my state, so I merely listened as the spirit explained his plight.

He had been taking an inexplainable journey which had neither a decipherable meaning nor path, on which he was hunting. He heard a low thud, a mere name, something which meant nothing to him yet made him vibrate with remembrance. So, he turned from his path and returned back to where his life was extinguished, then waited for me, his releaser, to arrive.

He requested that I warn all about the danger and dishonor caused by calling the forgotten names of the Ancestors of this world. No Edhel should speak nor write the name of those that have departed for the Blessed Isle, not even the Chieftain of the Raven Clan to an oucast of Sar-Sargoth.

He left this world with all set right, his time had come to join with the Ancestors and now, he says he will linger here, seeking blood until enough time has passed for him to start his journey once more.

Much as I enjoyed ending this Moredhel's life, I had a lot of respect for one so honorable and devout to the Bayer, and it grieves me to see his kindred soul in such a ruined state. Moreso, lingering within my temple. I don't know which one of you swines up North has ruined this one's trip, but I damn well hope your brethren knows of your tratorous dishonor.

Yours in enlightenment,
Grin Lazariss
