Ways to connect to the Iron Realms

The worlds of Iron Realms are text-based online games. This means you use a client program to connect and play. While we highly recommend using our Nexus client, other clients can be used. If Nexus just doesn't do it for you, we recommend:

Zmud - The most popular Windows client for text MUDs generally. (30 day trial)

Tinyfugue - The best Linux/Unix client. (free)

Rapscallion - A client available for the Macintosh. (free)

If you use a client other than Nexus, you'll need to configure it to connect to the following host and ports for each game (how this is done varies from client to client):

Achaea achaea.com,port 23
Aetolia aetolia.com, port 23
Imperian imperian.com, port 23
Lusternia lusternia.com, port 23
