13.14 WRITHE
When adventuring you may sometimes find yourself bound by a variety of
things. Vampires can hold you in their grasp to feed from you, and
quicksand can threaten to drag you down. To avoid this, you have the
ability to WRITHE. This might be a fight in your mind, or by physically
twisting and turning.
Typing WRITHE on its own will pick the first best thing to writhe from,
though it will then take a couple of seconds before you twist yourself
free.
If you are bound by several bindings you may choose with WRITHE FROM
<type> where type is any of those below.

bind Hmm. Ankles and wrists tied together.
hangedman So many ropes.

quicksand Sinking is a bad idea.
web Sticky strands of web.
grapple Within the grip of your foe.
claws Let go of me, bird!
vines The grasp of the forest.
armpit-jawlock A favorite among the hairy.
thigh-jawlock A bit too close for comfort!
neck-jawlock There's better ways to say 'I love you.'
Should you find yourself locked in a sand cocoon, you will need to BREAK
COCOON to free yourself.
Should you find yourself targeted by the Wheel Tarot, you will need to
RIP CARD to escape it.
