5.1 Health

Health (sometimes also called HP), represents your physical well-being. When your health (which you can see by typing SCORE or by putting PROMPT STATS on - see HELP PROMPT) reaches 0, you will die (unless some special abilities or protections comes into play).

Your maximum health may be increased:
- by rising in level,
- by various magical means, and
- by acquiring certain artifacts,
- by completing certain quests

Higher maximum health is always better than lower!

Some abilities used to combat other adventurers cause damage partly based on maximum health. This means that with higher maximum health you should expect an increase in some damage received from other adventurers, though the increase is not as great as the amount by which your own health rose. In any case, you will definitely be able to withstand more attacks before dying, which is the important thing.

Restoring Health
----------------
You can restore health by applying a bandage, which will heal it rapidly over time, or by converting adrenaline into health if you have the Overdrive ability in Fighting.

Health of Enemies
-----------------
When you're fighting an enemy, a rough indicator of that enemy's health (or spellshield, if they have that spell active) will appear on your prompt. The levels of health, from highest to lowest, are:
