Skulking in the shadows and raising suspicion, a cowled figure wandered
Sapience, muttering of prophecy and deception. Questions rose wherever
the figure appeared, but they did not suffer long without answers.

The entire continent was startled as a bright light soon burst through
the canopy of the Aalen Forest, bathing the redwoods in a dim glow. As
quickly as it came, the light soon vanished and was replaced by the
disturbing wail of a panicked woman deep within the forest.

Her shouts were quickly joined by others within the kingdom of the
Tsol'aa; only Thaa'lis, the elder druid, appeared to retain the calm
composure characteristic of her race. Under her direction, many scoured
the forest for the source of such panic, encountering curious motes of
light floating through the great trees. Warily adventurers tried to herd
the motes toward the waterfall where Thaa'lis waited, where they
disappeared behind a curtain of water. There, in a hidden grotto, stood
an unfamiliar Tsol: an oracle who called herself Tybatha. A brief but
sad smile formed upon her face as the final mote of light winked in from
the outside.

Within the grotto lived a small number of reclusive Tsol'aa who spent
their lives in dedication to the words of a mysterious prophecy, Tybatha
explained. The figure espied earlier was once a devout member of this
community, but had become bitter and bent on revenge for perceived
wrongs and betrayals.

"She knew how to hurt us most," Tybatha said sadly, explaining how the
woman had released the formidable power contained within the grotto,
endangering the surrounding forest and revealing the reclusive
assemblage to the outer world.

There was little else to do but accept the unveiling of the cavern as
inevitable, Tybatha mused, and in thanks for the help of strangers from
afar, she gave her blessing to those who wished to enter the sacred
Saiha'balan Grotto.
