Public News Post #19069

Your glibness does you no credit.

It appears to this casual observer, who is both former resident, and
current ally to the city of Shallam, that your japery is infantile and
amateurish at best.

Regardless of whether or not one's defication is malodorous, I think
you're being rather hypocritical yourself. Everything you have said
about Shallam, could also be said about Hashan. Or Eleusis. Or Mhaldor,
or Ashtan, or even my own Cyrene. But it would always be said by someone
-who is not a citzen-.

Do not let your glorious witticisms go unnoticed, though! Clearly much
thought was given to your previous musings, and I both appreciate and
understand that. Now, while I am always one to promote pride and
patriotism for one's city, there is a time and a place for everything.

Luckily for you, someone like me felt kind enough to tell you that.

So sing proudly of your triumphs and your tales of heroic deed. Hold
your head up high! Be proud of where you came from, and who you stand
for!

...but for right now, be quiet; the adults are talking.

Penned by my hand on the 19th of Glacian, in the year 609 AF.
