Waining?

Silas,
I have no interest in whatever trivial reason you have concocted to find
yourself an opponent your rag tag band of beggars could actually
potentially strike back at with a modicum of consistent success, but I
must admit that one part of your diatribe actually got my attention;
feel privelaged.

If Ashtan's power wanes, I must admit to being curious to where the
armies of the Light have been during the process. As far as I am aware,
the full extent of your military "victories" against Ashtan have
consisted primarily of frantically repelling incursions against your new
home--or, if you prefer, reenacting the misguided struggles of the
former state of Shallam. However, perhaps you consider defiling shrines
to Oblivion a significant blow against the Bastion of the North, in
which case I applaud your efforts. Perhaps given another century, you
may make noticeable progress; assuming you have that long, of course.

I wish you all the best in your efforts against the Crown. I suspect
they shall prove a more formidable foe than you anticipate.
In His service,
Tanris Rozzan
Keeper of the flame-bright spear
