Public News Post #19221

Regarding your position on betrayal:

I do not speak in regards to public news posts often, or lightly. Or
ever, truth be told; more often than not, I see the pride-filled words
of those who are under the misguided notion that their way is best and
that all who do not follow must be somehow inferior.

I'd be lying if I said that the last few posts had spurred my conscience
on to action: I disagree with Mhaldor's philosophy, but there are few of
Cyrene who do. I do not know Lady Yuridja-Keyte, and while I know little
of the Ebon Fist, I know enough of our differences: those of the Ebon
Fist seek Strength from within, both with their Seven Truths and their
worship of Lord Sartan. They seek to transcend their mortality. The
Mojushai, in contrast, are encouraged to be selfless. We, too, seek
strength - not through pain or suffering, but by cultivating it within
those around us. I have found a greater sense of worth through bringing
out the best in those around me - even a selfish bastard of a Serpent
such as myself can find the better parts of his nature.

I've bumped into Miss Terra on several occasions; she seems a decent
enough sort, if somewhat...Enthusiastic, for my taste. And I know
nothing of yourself, Corporal Da'Miras, short of your affiliation to
Lord Babel and your enemy status toward my city. I've little doubt that
it isn't the first time that Miss Terra has been called a traitor, but
I'm prepared to find your position ironic.

Penned by my hand on the 7th of Daedalan, in the year 624 AF.
