While I have no real interest in the bickering and wrist-slapping being displayed here, there was a casual aside made, one that I could not stifle the cluck of maternal reproach at. I respond simply for the sake of clarification, as some statements, if not called into check early, can influence individuals far more than they ought to.

"To the rest of you, know that this is a choice you all make daily. You all have the capacity to put the needs of Creation before your own; all that remains is for you to make that choice, and to commit yourselves as servants of Good, of Light, and of Righteousness, in the city of Targossas."

To pull individuals into service under the beacons of Light and Righteousness, and claim that it is for the 'needs of Creation', is an arrogant, egotistical call. To assume that a mortal can not only ken, but supply, such a thing is preposterous. Creation has no need(s) for mortal service, and will do as it will, regardless of attempts at intervention or assistance. What might be offered under those banners is just guided path for those lost, troubled individuals who cannot find their own way; a hand to hold in the dark, and perhaps, the comforting touch that comes from a mother's embrace in the face and the fear of the unknown.
