A Recall of Their blessed gifts.

Addressed to: The City of Cyrene

Some fifty years after the disbanding of the Ordine Vashnar Lumeni, your city has voted in favor of a referendum to silence Targossians for speaking in regards to their faith in your city. That it has come to this is to the surprise of few and the disappointment of many.

When Minister Antidas Wintermourne robbed a Cyrenian shop, he did so in accordance with the laws of the Bloodsworn. Despite this, Cyrene demanded that we take matters into the hands of the government, to punish a man that was innocent of any crime according to the laws of our city. The government of Targossas declined, as it would be similar to demanding that Cyrene discipline every one of their citizens who murdered an innocent.

In reaction to this the Cyrenian Senate and Imperiate chose to ban public speech pertaining to the teachings of Light and Fire by Targossians within the city walls. Backed by a vote of the people, the stances is crystal clear; you will not allow the faithful to live in accordance with their religion, preaching and fighting for what is truly righteous.

Because of this, as Deacon of Celestia I hereby recall all Cyrenian devotionists from the Heart of the Vashnars. Those who value Their gift of Devotion may return to Targossas, live as a rogue, or find a new profession.

There will be a six month grace period, beginning immediately. At the end of this time, all Cyrenians who remain priests or paladins will be excommunicated, their ties to the Bloodsworn powers severed.

The Light and Fire lead. We never fail to follow.

In service to Them,

Aodfionn Wintermourne

Penned by my hand on the 20th of Scarlatan, in the year 681 AF.
