Hail, Sapients.


Not since the tumultuous times that preceded the Worldreaver's return have I seen the continent so riddled with terror and fear. With suffering and anguish. With the pain caused by this disease, spreading between ports and isles with every wave of fresh sailors.

This is a crisis not just of the individuals afflicted, but for all of us. The plague holds no affinity for religious or political affiliation. It does not stop at the borders of any of the nationstates. This is a threat not only to those who are clinging to life, but to all of mortality.

Blessings be upon those men and women, faithful and heathen alike, who have sought to aid in finding a cure for this disease. In the mean time, however, there remain questions as to what can be done to aid those for whom no cure is yet certain.

To this end, the Harbingers are rather prepared; with the recent completion of our own hospice and the empowering of the Altar of Mercy, the Harbinger estate is uniquely able to treat and bring comfort to a large number of infected persons. Our healer, Sister Terice of New Hope, is also particularly trained as a nurse as well as a priestess.

Any individual - regardless of religious or political affiliation - would find temporary refuge with her, should they seek it. While we have not yet found the cure, Their energies are capable of at least halting the progression of the symptoms, as long as the infected mortal lingers in the presence of the healing energies.

In the far-gone past, the Lord Deucalion sacrificed Himself so that mortality would have another chance at life, another chance to grow. Just as He brought back heathen and faithful alike, so too will Their Harbingers seek to give comfort to the ill however we may. It is in pursuit of service to Good, that we now offer the open hand of Succour to all Sapients.
