Nature, plagues, and such

Greetings,

I am writing this note because of the response Rangor wrote, but it's not really just to him.

Plagues do come and they go. A cure will be found and we'll survive but not before we the find the source of the disease. Nature will always survive no matter what Her enemies send against her.

This doesn't mean we need to stand by and do nothing. My Lord, Lord Lupus is a very firm believer of mortals doing things themselves. Unless a Divine was involved and then He still expected us to do what we could and then and only then would he intervene.

In my youth I was a very fervent defender of Nature and served for a time as one of the Heirophants of Oakstone. Even though I'm now a citizen of Cyrene, I've never lost my love for Her. While there never was love lost between Cities and even Father sent Werewolves to harass the builders of Hashan. For the most part there wasn't the hatred or just the extremist attitude that all City's should be left desolate. Nature encompasses all and is found everywhere and is a part of everything, including the cities. This attitude is becoming more prevalent and is alarming and will only bring harm to Her in the long run.

We need to work together not hope for the destruction of each other.

Sir Laren Ryndel, Lupine Outrider

Penned by my hand on the 14th of Phaestian, in the year 683 AF.
