I applaud you on your well constructed propaganda, having others liken you to those of Darkness is always a high praise for any politician despite your home's recent distate for them. How carefully we must weave our words to superimpose a new perspective upon an old reality. It is truly an art lost on so many.

Never the less, the reality of what is remains as the bedrock of our existence. For centuries, Ashtan has claimed to be the bastion of freedom in a land oppressed in so many ways. This much is true, for it allowed the cabal of Occultists the freedom to seek pacts with the Court of Chaos in order to further their own ends.

Certainly this fact is no secret and continues to this very day with a vengeance, but to speak as the voice of "freedom", at least until your true master returns, in this regard is no less than disingenuous. The people of Ashtan and the Skylord have done naught but trade any semblance of freedom that they once had to become the thralls of the Chaos Lords just as they once served their Infernal masters in turn.

The once great city of Ashtan has traded its position of power, wrought by their own hands with blood and sweat, for that of cattle, your karma fueling the Chaos Court like they once did the Undead Legions. You have chained yourselves like so many city-states that surround us, the once great potential of your people has been limited not expanded by lowering yourselves to becoming the foothold of not only foreign but alien forces that seek to consume our world.

You have bartered with more than karma this time; for all our sakes, I pray that you have made a fair trade.
