Inherent Flaws

Ashelynne,

The personal conflict between the Herald and yourself is of no
consequence to the masses so I will refrain from commenting
either way. What is of importance is the meat of your post
regarding questioning one's beliefs and your claim that such
questions are unwelcome within Targossas. It is obvious that,
while I have no knowledge of any conversation with yourself
and the Herald, you are basing this assumption entirely off
of a small percentage of theological discussions you may have
had during your questioning phase. While all Targossians take
upon themselves an Oath to protect Creation there can be no
denying that not all fully understand what this Oath means,
or even what protecting Creation entails. One of our main
tenets is Growth and along these same lines all must endure
to Grow both physically, spiritually, and mentally. You may
encounter conflicting statements within Targossas from various
points of views but the outlining idea still remains as the
Bloodsworn's edicts. We are mortals yet, and mortals will
always be flawed in some manner or another.

Lastly I'd like to address these flaws you claim should be
considered 'inherent' in regards to the Bloodsworn's edicts.
During our three-day conversation you put forth a great many
opinions on various religions, so as this was your reasoning
for departure I must then assume these are the flaws you think
should be so obvious to others. One, was that somehow Evil,
Good, and Darkness should be able to be 'balanced' in some form
or another, and the endless struggle between either leg was
unnecessary. Any reading this post could easily point out the
major flaw in this thinking as both Evil and Good's ideals
consist of either a total purge within Creation or its total
protection. Neither would agree to carve Creations into
sections, where one half exists as slaves to the West and the
other lives in quiet harmony. The notion itself is ridiculous.
I won't delve into your opinions on Good and Darkness, as your
thinking is devoid of any basis regarding the Great Work and
Abyss and you believe the Darkwalkers only teach to their
followers a sense of 'self-enlightenment'.

Regarding Chaos and Good you claimed that you see no basis in
reality for how Good can be considered a force, yet you believe
the existence of Chaos as a force is obvious. I won't delve
into the specifics of the argument you had, but at the core you
believe Chaos to exist because you were told so by others yet
Good cannot be considered a force as you've only been told so
by others and there is no factual evidence to support the claim.
This is a testament to the fact that the message is not what
you disagree with, but the messengers, which is an issue but
not one based on a theological basis.

It's important to note that these are not all of your thoughts,
but they were the ones that most easily sprang to my mind. It's
also important to note that during our discussions if you were
presented with an answer that did not suit your personal line
of thinking, you quickly changed the subject and chose to take
upon yourself the mentality of a victim. It is not wrong to
question your beliefs, but you must be open to answers at the
same time.

I pray, with time, you find yourself able to open yourself to
the ideal of Truth and embrace Redemption. Your ignorance of
the Bloodsworn's teachings, as well as those of Evil and
Darkness, were the only inherent flaws I was able to see.

In service to the Bloodsworn,

Micaelis Bayt al-Azhan
