Your argument for Nature

Forestwalker,

Somehow, in your bid to educate the world about this lifestyle, I feel like you have done Nature a disservice with your confusing choice of words, for your assumption is indeed certainly do not associate the qualities of iron and stone with the variable definitions of 'goodness, wellbeing or progress'.

I feel that if I determined my wellbeing based on how safe I feel behind the 'chaotic' fortress walls of Mhaldor or my progress based on something so inconsequential as the materials that formed the foundations of my city, I would be a very shallow person indeed. Humorously, while we speak of the falsities of iron and stone, I stand upon Eleusian owned mines built from your two mentioned materials and question the angle of your stance. Is it the materials that were used, or is the nature of their acquisition that you claim offense to?

I noticed that you brought up a section of the Viridian Charter to support your assertions and I cannot help but recall a conversation I once with an Eleusian who, like you, is currently a Scion of the Ithmia. In the aftermath of an intense fight, we found ourselves debating about his change of path and his subsequent enlightenment in the comfort of the trees.

It is interesting to note that he took the tenets of your charter and likened it to a softer version of Oblivion; while their followers believe all that was created shall eventually return to nothingness, yours speak of the erosion of the world and an eventual return of all life and constructs to the cycle of nature.

To live one's life, content in yielding to such shadowed ideals without exploring them further and to serve amongst those who languish, without want of further purpose and personal progression, is an invitation to an indolent lifestyle of comfort I would wholeheartedly decline.

If you seek to educate the world about the path you believe in, I suggest that you live through it a little before speaking about your understanding.

His Eternally,
