Calling all novices!

The city of Ashtan is hosting a giant rat hunt, it is open to everyone under the level of 30 at the start of the hunt.
It will start on 3rd of Lupar, year 709 and last for 1 day. If you become higher than level 30 during the hunt, don't worry, you will still be eligible!

Those who wish to take part are to send their name to me in a missive, tells, messages and letters are all acceptable, as is walking to me and telling me you want to take part.

Now, why would you want to take part in this?
Well. The winner of the giant rat hunt will win 1000 lessons.
That's right, 1000 lessons! Think of how many things you can learn with that!

Cheaters will be treated with contempt and murder. So don't do it.

I will let you all know when the event starts, and again when it finishes, and further information will be given to all participants.

And to the non novices amongst you.. or heck, even novices with the skills required. On the 2nd of Phaestian, year 709 there will be a fishing contest. This fishing contest has two categories.

There is the deep sea class and the river and lakes class. And a winner will be chosen from both of these. For two days, fishermen will be left to cast their lines and catch as many fish as they can!

Winners of each grouping will be awarded with a non decaying and specially customised fishing rod, dependant on the category you win, (there's a deep sea one and a river one).
Fish will be checked for freshness. No cheating!

This is open to everyone in sapience. If you wish to take part, please get your name to me. The winning requirements will be given to those taking part on the day.
