Greetings, Sapience.

Nearly 80 years ago on Daedalan of year 623, Targossas officially became a city-state. The first Targossians swore their oaths before the Bloodsworn, gathered in the dazzling, newly-constructed Silverbright Square. One of the traditions first began within the Dawnspear was a celebration of this gift to us from the Bloodsworn. This celebration is a year of jubilation and praise - the Festival of Dawn.

Historically the Festival has been relatively private. It was assumed the majority of those in other cities wouldn't be quite as excited about praising the Bloodsworn as Their citizens. In the interest of sharing our culture, I am pleased to announce that this Festival will be partially open to the public. Some of the events will be open to any who would like to join in the celebration of Targossas' founding.

Please refer to the schedule of events open to the public below! Note that these are only the big public events, there will frequently be smaller games going on in the city, so feel free to come check what's going on. Additionally, the banner in the Centre of Silverbright Square will have the closest upcoming event emblazoned on it.

Sarapin 7th, 713:
Opening ceremony.
Riddle quest begins (details to follow).

Daedalan 3rd, 713:
Delosian Tumbleraces (refer to ANNOUNCE 4477 for info).

Miraman 5th, 713:
Battle figurine tournament.

Ero 23rd, 713:
King of the Hill - with captains!

Valnuary 25th, 713:
New Dawn - big game! There will be also be smaller games all year long.

Glacian 20th, 713
Open Square - stories, performances, songs, etc. themed around the Festival.

Sarapin 19th, 714
Riddle quest closes.
Closing ceremony.

While all are invited to rejoice in the blessing the Bloodsworn have bestowed upon us, the Open Square will be held within Targossas. If you are interested in attending this event but are currently an enemy, you may contact me. We will consider admittance on a case-by-case basis to those who exhibit genuine interest in attending to learn about Their city.

It is important to remember that the use of 'DATE 7 SARAPIN 713', 'DATE 3 DAEDALAN 713', etc. will be quite useful in determining exactly when these events are, and the tumbleraces are listed on UPCOMING. If you have any questions about any of these events, please do send me a message, and I would be happy to assist.

In service of the Bloodsworn,
Tesha al Ashtad

Penned by my hand on the 5th of Mayan, in the year 712 AF.
