Hello Triaga.

I, as the new Order Head of Vengeance, have been very disappointed by the recent news posts about my faith, as well as messages I have received from several worried Eledhel. Rife as they are with misapprehensions, I will take a moment to rectify any errors.

The Forest sees Vengeance as a bloodthirsty organization, lead by Humans and Moredhel. Nothing can be further from the truth. There are many ways to achieve Vengeance. Let's use the Moredhel Starra as an example. Her wrath was focused on Onar, for some reason or another, so she sought the 'vengeance' of ruining our sect. This act, which was directed toward Onar alone, would hurt all 9 people in the sect. I would argue this reaction is bloodlust rather than Vengeance. Instead, she may have won the Great Hunt and forced her enemy, Onar, to give her credits and gold in return. That, I would say, would also be Vengeance: looking your enemy in the eye and having them reward you despite their own bitter feelings.

The North sees Vengeance as weak. They see it as a cult of Humans and Eledhel. I would argue that what can a new sect do to show it's strength other than survive your attacks? That we will do, and we will do so proudly.

I would note, however, that the leaders of Vengeance are Silas (an Eledhel), Onar (a Glamredhel), and I (a Moredhel). Vengeance is in every man, woman, child, or elf's heart. It is the balancing act of the world. It is the righting of wrongs. It is what stops evil from prevailing. Sometimes, violence is necessary towards this end, but we are not sadistic in nature.

Thank you for your time and your patience with reading this. If anyone has any questions, please contact me.

If you want to participate in the Great Hunt, offer at any Vengeance shrine you see, or contact me if you cannot find one.
