Gifts Across the Realms

Holiday Cheer in Achaea, Aetolia, Lusternia, and Starmourn

This December, all four Iron Realms games: Achaea, Aetolia, Lusternia, and Starmourn, are joining together for a cross-world holiday gift event.

The idea is simple: send anonymous presents to other players (both in your own game and in the others), watch the deliveries roll in, and help fill a shared cheer meter that leads to something big when it hits 100%.

How the event works

Throughout the month of December, characters in each game will be able to:

• Send anonymous gifts to other random adventurers, both locally and across the other Iron Realms games.
• Attach custom festive messages, with options ranging from heartfelt to delightfully mischievous.
• Include a variety of items, from cosy seasonal treats to more… surprising offerings, depending on the world.

Each game has its own in-character framing, flavour text, and help file, but the core mechanics are the same everywhere.

Deliveries and daily limits

To keep things flowing smoothly:

• You can send one gift per real-life day per character.
• Each gift costs wrapping paper, which is earned in different ways in each game.
• Deliveries go out roughly once an hour in waves, so keep an eye out, you never quite know when something is going to land in your hands.

Sending a gift during the event makes you eligible to receive a gift, so the more people who participate, the more presents will be bouncing between worlds.

The global cheer meter

Every time a gift is sent, it nudges up a global cheer meter shared across the participating games.

• You can check its progress in-game via each world’s command.
• When the meter reaches 100%, something special will happen in each game.

What, exactly, arrives and how you deal with it is different in each world.

Milestone rewards for senders

To reward those who really throw themselves into the spirit of things, every game includes milestone rewards for sending gifts.

As you help with deliveries, you’ll unlock special rewards at:

1, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 gifts sent

The exact prizes vary by game (and are detailed in each world’s help files and announcements), but they include things like:

• Seasonal consumables and cosmetics
• Themed collectibles and pets/mounts
• Customisation options
• Special titles or honours lines

The holiday lottery

On top of milestone rewards, there is also a credit lottery running across the event.

Every present you send:

• Grants you one ticket in a lottery for your game.
• At the end of the event, three winners per game will be drawn to receive credit prizes:
• 1st prize: 1000 credits
• 2nd prize: 500 credits
• 3rd prize: 250 credits

The more days you participate and the more gifts you send, the more chances you’ll have in the draw.
