DMCA Policy (Copyright)

Last updated: February 5, 2026

Iron Realms Entertainment (“Iron Realms”) respects copyright and responds to notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). We also try not to interfere with common tools copyright owners use to identify or protect their work. This policy applies to Iron Realms Services we operate and control, including our websites, wikis, comment sections, and in-game user-generated content features. It does not apply to content hosted by third parties (for example, Discord), though we may still moderate our community spaces there.

Submit a DMCA Takedown Notice

Send a written notice including all of the following:

  1. Your name, mailing address, phone, and email.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work (description and/or link).
  3. Where the content appears on our Services, with enough detail to find it:
    • For websites/wikis/comments: URL(s) (one per line is best)
    • For in-game content: game name, character/account, feature/location, post/title, approx. date/time (and screenshots if helpful)
  4. A statement: “I have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.”
  5. A statement: “The information in this notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, I am the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.”
  6. Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full legal name is acceptable).

If you are sending this on behalf of the copyright owner, briefly explain your authorization (or include supporting documentation).

What happens next

  • We may remove or disable access to the material and notify the uploader.
  • We may ask for more details if we can’t locate the content.
  • We may decline to act on notices that are missing required information.
  • If we receive a valid counter-notice (below), we may restore the material in 10–14 business days unless the complainant files a court action.
  • We may keep records of notices, counter-notices, and related actions for compliance and dispute handling.

Counter-Notification

If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notice to the DMCA Agent including:

  1. Your name, address, phone, and email.
  2. The material removed and where it appeared before removal (URL(s) or in-game location details).
  3. A statement (under penalty of perjury) that you have a good-faith belief the removal was due to mistake or misidentification.
  4. A statement that you agree to handle any dispute in a U.S. federal court in your area (or, if you live outside the U.S., a U.S. federal court where Iron Realms can be found), and that you will accept legal service from the person who sent the original notice (or their agent).
  5. Your physical or electronic signature.

Note: We may forward your counter-notice (including your contact information) to the original complainant as part of the DMCA process.

Repeat infringers

We maintain and enforce a policy for restricting or terminating, in appropriate cases, accounts that repeatedly infringe copyrights.

Misrepresentations

Please submit notices in good faith. Knowingly false DMCA notices or counter-notices can create legal liability (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)).
