In the Underworld resides the tragic figure of a once beautiful bride named Ora. Her fate appears tied to her lost wedding ring, and a red stain upon the bodice of her white gown. Her sobs and tears resound through the streets of Dis, rattling the fell beasts.
Several have questioned Ora lately, regarding the similarity in the wedding ring she seeks and one that Kvand the Wanderer carries. A deep seeded fear has kept her silent for months until she finally spoke with Laila Ashtear. The weeping maiden told her tale.
It was revealed she did have a connection to the wanderer known as Kvand. She was his intended bride and she adored him. In the days before their wedding, Ora came upon her beloved sleeping soundly. As always, cradled in his arms was a tarnished flute of silver. The bride wanted to please him, and thought she should begin her duty to him. She took up the flute and polished it to a high and brilliant shine.
Kvand awoke to see his precious flute glittering like new. He said nothing to Ora, not a word of thanks or acknowledgement. The day of their wedding dawned sunlit and beautiful. He led her to a watery edge, smiling down into her innocent face.
He gathered his bride into his embrace, and smiled down at her in her beautiful wedding gown. He laughed softly and whispered, "You touched my heart, and I will touch yours." He plunged a knife into her chest and did just that.
Ora revealed he had been traveling to Dis, laughing at her and taunting her. She believed Kvand still held her heart, as well as the wedding band she had intended to give him.
