Subj: Fathers

Father is the rock, amidst the churning turmoil,
Of days that fill and fill as you work and toil,
Steady as a forger's hand hammering creations,
Reassuring as a dear song without limitations.

Solid and steadfast, He's ever there,
Watching, guiding all in His care.
Jokes and play come easier with Him,
Than a mother's loving, yet stricter whim.

Less of fret than a mother's heart,
Does not mean a Father's apart,
From that which makes us who we are,
And helping us find a guiding star.

Father is the hand that shepherds the way,
Life's intricate dance, come what may.
Strong as a pillar, He lends His shoulder,
No matter how much His children get older.

Despite His strength and earthly grounding,
With His Love and Heart surrounding,
You're sure to rise, flying high skies,
And as you reach for the prize,
You find it in your heart, where His support lies.

(My heart and thanks always to the two Divine Fathers in my life.)

Penned by my hand on the 1st of Miraman, in the year 628 AF.
