Subj: Jubilation

Washed ashore in tangled kelp,
Damp and aching from the swim,
Sadly tearful to my brim,
Needing, not expecting, help.

Broken like a jar of clay,
Fallen from a lofty cliff,
Sentimental, soft, and stiff,
Frightened cats may learn to play.

So tattered when you found me,
Now resplendent as we part,
Sweet and azure, tender heart,
Thank you for my jubilee.

Penned by my hand on the 18th of Sarapin, in the year 638 AF.
