echoed cry

Written by: Nixxe Ashaela, Scarlatti's Weaver of Imagination

into the forest
travelling in disguise
to catch a glint
of deep dark eyes
an echo trapped inside
the familiar unrest
wind as a guide
fight the urge to sprint
glimpse at the skies
soothing clouds jest
as the cry escapes

Penned by my hand on the 9th of Scarlatan, in the year 659 AF.
