The Bay of Dardanos

The bones have been cast
And now at long last
A milestone reached in our journey

No time yet to bask
As we bend will towards our task
So do not that bottle uncork

Climb down from the mast
You blimey bilge rat!
Put hand to line and heave to

Loud, with a sharp crack
Did the whip strike the back
Of the nearest loitering mate

Metrons we've traveled
Til our rags now unraveled
Striking for the famed Cnidian Gates

Finally with a shout
Of, "Bring her about!"
The oars dip and take hold

With a heave and a ho
Afar shall we go
To claim our weight in gold

Penned by my hand on the 1st of Aeguary, in the year 674 AF.
