Guide the Way (complete version)

I was lost, awandering
Cast away, my mind at sea
Every where I was wondering
What shall fate do with me

I was afraid, my heart torn
Battles I had dearly lost
In my mind all I heard was scorn
At what does kindness cost

I was alone, my eyes in tears
How could I make my way
Living only a few small years
I fell to my knees and began to pray

"Lord and Lady, you chose me so
That this path be laid afore me
My courage is fading even tho
Thy way tis plain to see."

Then upon a starry night
Where friend nor foe
Would care to fight
Guide the Way

Doubts, I felt them in number
Just as about me all seemed well
My heart began to be torn asunder
I was in my own personal shaol

Just as I was about to lose all hope
Behold me was a blazing Light
My mouth opened in a silent "Oh"
As before me I found the answer right

What are friends that they travelled here
To be ever at my side
Judgement not that they would adhere
Even though I felt twas their right

They stood by me ever patient, ever true
They hearts of Good, Creation, and Light
They gave the Lord and Lady their due
By giving courage and heart to those in the fight

My brethren, how I do pray
That as we our enemies do seek
Thy hearts have led the way
May my heart be as you, I do seek

Enemies and troubles are but fleeting
As the day does pass away
Doubts can indeed be receding
With friends, brothers, sisters, to guide the way

Penned by my hand on the 4th of Miraman, in the year 692 AF.
