A Kiss

His eyes saw hers, across the darkened room
Her eyes merry and bright held hope, his gloom
Then across the room the two met, in a moment of bliss
Thus it was that they did have their first sweet kiss

He awoke in a house full of adventures galore
Waiting ever patiently, hoping for but a kiss more
The lovely lady of the past did indeed wake and appear
Her eyes met his lovingly, another kiss to be near

Mistletoe overhead, Logosmas well and past
Remove that plant they could not bring them to task
For beneath that plant, green and red merry bright
The two met underneath for another kiss that night

For the sake of a kiss, they would wake and see
To them, for their love tis a beauty of tales worthy
Every time they awaken, you can find them close to love
For but a kiss they experience bliss that is pure as a dove

Penned by my hand on the 13th of Valnuary, in the year 704 AF.
