Dragon of Might

Black dragon of amazing might
Came into the arena to fight
His muscles strong, his tail so long
The foe knew he wouldn't last the night

The battle began as battles do
With each a win wanting to
Yet, his strength so fierce, the foe in tears
Knowing that the battle was through

Dragon of the night we hail.
Long live Deladan, may his strength prevail.
Dragon of darkness of whom we sing.
Fighting, enduring, encouraging!

Mighty warrior I ask you this.
Are all satyrs with strength of bliss?
Can you see now how you we wish to be
Even embracing to be you, death's kiss.

Mighty dragon of ages past.
Our goal to learn from you now our task.
May you live strong, ever long.
As we hope your strength ever does last.

Penned by my hand on the 21st of Lupar, in the year 708 AF.
