Re: Nature and urbanisation

Dark Salutations,

There is no denying that the Mhojave is the graveyard of many wonders. The rubble of a pyramid, an obelisk, and an once-thriving oasis populate its sea of sand, not to mention the final resting place of the Greater Dragon Ashaxei.

Nevertheless, none of these things met their end in a "Natural" way. The encroaching sands did not devour the pyramid nor weather away the Obelisk of Darkness. They were destroyed by the hands of mortals, Gods, and alien beings alike.

Yet not unlike Nature, the Great Work of Darkness is not static. It is ever progressing, ever adapting in order to realise its ultimate end. While fate saw fit to see the Obelisk within the desert(which found its way there rather unnaturally, I might add) meet its end by the power of the Even-handed; It has risen again, eclipsing its former glory, rebuilt in its true and intended place of power -- Hashan.

A majestic centrepiece in what is truly Crown of the Ithmia, the Obelisk of Darkness stands as a monument dedicated to truth of the Great Work and a testament to the Dark Father's wisdom. Nature has its place in the grand scheme, as do all, but the existence of the Crown is persitent challenge to your parochial assertations.

In Service to the Great Work,
Vayne Trismegistus

Penned by my hand on the 14th of Miraman, in the year 682 AF.
