Tarot Changes

Greetings, Imperian,

A few changes have been made to Tarot:

- Like FLINGing, ACTIVATE and RUB will automatically outdeck an appropriate card if you don't already have one.
- RUB will search for a valid death card in your inventory first. If it doesn't find one, it will outdeck a new death card and rub that on the target.
- ACTIVATE HERMIT will first search your inventory for a hermit card, activating it. If it doesn't find one, it will outdeck.
- Using it this way means you can only have one hermit card at once, but that's solved by:
- You can now give your hermit cards nicknames.
- ACTIVATE HERMIT NAMED <name> will outdeck a hermit card (if you have one), and assign it the one-word name of your choice. It will never use a hermit card already in your inventory.
- FLING HERMIT NAMED <name> AT GROUND will fling the first hermit card in your inventory with that name assigned. If no hermit has that name, it will fail.
- You can still outdeck multiple hermit cards and reference them by item number, if you want, with the following exception:

We have also an artifact tarot deck! (It is not available as a power, for obvious reasons)

Artifact: a Tarot Deck of Ayasha
Power: n/a
Price: 100 credits
- This deck will never run out of cards, but this comes with a catch:
- You cannot directly remove cards from this deck using the OUTDECK command.
- You can use FLING, ACTIVATE, and RUB to remove a card on-demand.

Being able to create an infinite number of cards is hazardous (for a number of reasons), so you can't directly outdeck any card from this deck. The outdeck command will ignore the presence of artifact tarot decks entirely. Instead, any action that would use a tarot card will outdeck one on-demand.

Penned by my hand on the 17th of Ultio, in the year 56 AM.
